Tapas are small meals like starters, but most of the time you are ordering several of them. That allows you to try many different varieties. 

There are two different types of Tapas restaurants. You can decide between an old, local one or you could go to a modern one, which is popular among tourists. Here are our top ten cheap Tapas restaurants for you as an Erasmus student. 

A modern Tapas Bar is the Duo Tapas Bar. Here you can find many extraordinary Tapas, for example Tartar de Atun or langoustine or croquettas. The price for one Tapa is between 1€ and 5€. They are so popular that we would recommend you to reserve a table before you go.

An old and authentic tapas bar is the Bodeguita Romero. They serve typical Tapas from Sevilla like albondigas. The Tapas and the drinks cost between 2.50€ and 4€. You can find the Bar in the heart of Sevilla.

A small modern Tapas restaurant is the La Linterna Ciega. Here you will find the typical Spanish Tapas as well as unusual Tapas like Korean Chicken Wings. The Bar Postiguillo is a magic place. The architecture is uncommon for a Tapas Bar. Here you can choose between many different Tapas like fried shrimps or baked goat cheese with honey. The Los Coloniales is a typical spanish Tapas restaurant. At this restaurant for example you can find Zanahoria Aliñada or Calamares del campo. The price for one is between 3€ and 6€.

The Bar Estrella is a small and familiar Tapas Bar. Here you can only find typical andalusian Tapas for example crunchy eggplant or ibirian pork tenderloin. The prices are between 3,20€ and 4,50€. You will also find many different wines over here.

This is the Universal People Bar de Tapas. It is a mix between old and charming but also modern. This you can also discover on the menu that's full of different food like spanish potato omelette flavoured with truffle and oxtail stew. The price for one Tapa is 3,5€ to 4,5€.

The 100 Montaditos is a small Tapas chain. The Restaurant is modern but also cosy. They offer many different kinds of Tapas, for example Tortilla de patatas or Chorizo Criollo. The Tapas cost between 2,5€ and 4€ but on Wednesday and Sunday they offer every Tapas for 1€.

You can find them in many different places all over the city for example at near the Cathedral of Seville at Av. de la Constitución, 9.

Our last recommendation for you is the Atmósfera Tapas. This Tapas Bar is small but really familiar. They offer typical Andalusian Tapas like Salmorejo or Choco frito.

You will find them at Calle Niculoso Pisano, 11, near the Torre Sevilla, so it is a perfect place to go after shopping and sightseeing.
