In Lisbon you will find every food that you can imagine. It's perfect if you are a person who likes trying out different kinds of food. Also many vegan restaurants can be found there. One of such perfect places is the Veganeats Caffe. There are also perfect market halls, like Time Out Market Lisboa and Mercado da Ribeira where you can find pretty much everything. 

Stunning views all around the city

Lisbon has over 20 viewpoints to discover, so you will need at least 10 days to properly discover all of them. Our top 3 viewpoints are Castelo de São Jorge, Arco da Rua Augusta and Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara.

The beach is really close

For a person who loves the beach this is a really important point. With a train  you will need only 30 minutes to the closest beach. So you have a mix of a city trip and beach holiday.

Visit Christ the King

Christ the King is inspired by Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. When you don't have the time and money to go to Rio de Janeiro, but want to see Christ the Redeemer, Christ the King is almost the perfect dupe. Additionally you get a stunning view of Lisbon and the Tejo river.

Try the popular Pastel de Belém

This point stands for itself. I can only say do it! It's one of the best pastries I ever tasted.

Go on a roundtrip with the Tram 28

The Tram will show you the whole center, which is considered a World Heritage by Unesco. Just take a seat and look outside of the window. The price is only 3€, which is quite affordable.  

Just stroll around the city

For me the best way exploring a city is just to walk around and go in every street that looks interesting. The best districts for this are Alfama and Barrio Alto.

Finding street art

In Lisbon you will find many street art, just keep your eyes open or book a street art tour.

Go to a Fado concert

Listen to the melodies of Fado. I went to the Pavo Restaurant to see a concert and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Lisbon
